This policy explains what North Georgia Clean Directory ("we", "us") collects when you use northgeorgiaclean.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If you have questions, email support@northgeorgiaclean.com.
What we collect
Business listing submissions. When you submit a business on our Submit Listing page, we collect the business name, the owner's email address, a direct contact phone number, and the service areas and qualifications you enter.
Contact form messages. When you use our Contact page, we collect your name, your email address and your message.
Newsletter sign-ups. If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Cookies are described below.
How we use it
To review, verify and publish business listings, and to contact the business about its listing.
To answer messages sent through the contact form or by email.
To send the updates you signed up for. Every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
What appears publicly
If a business listing is approved, the business details shown on the listing are public. These can include the business name, phone number, website, service areas and service categories. We do not publish the owner's email address unless the business asks us to. Contact form messages and newsletter sign-ups are never published.
Cookies
This website is built and hosted with Hostinger Website Builder. Its content is delivered through a content delivery network that includes Cloudflare. These services set cookies that are needed to run and protect the site, for example to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic and to remember your cookie choices.
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics tools such as Google Analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly without them.
Who handles your data
Hostinger provides our website builder, hosting and email. Form submissions and emails are stored on its systems.
Cloudflare helps deliver the site's images and files and protect the site from abuse.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Listing submissions: kept while the listing is active, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case of questions or disputes. Submissions that aren't approved are deleted after review unless you ask us to keep them.
Contact messages: kept as long as needed to deal with your request.
Newsletter addresses: kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to remove a business listing. Email support@northgeorgiaclean.com from the address connected to your request, and we will reply as soon as we can. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under privacy laws that apply to you.
Children
This website is meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
